K9 Active Duty Start Date: Nov 1, 2015

K9 Retirement Date: May 23, 2024

K9 Age, Birth Year, & Breed: 10, 2014, German shepherd

K9 Polo was able to assist the Swat Unit in their day duties as a full time Swat team. Polo was used in all the aspects of Swat work including countless suspect searches where he was able to greatly increase the safety of the Swat officers on dangerous situations. Polo also participated as part of the team on all of their special details including protection details, high level security details for large scale special events and with the team as part of the team’s counter assault duties.
